We've decided it is time to have another photo contest. There will be 3 categories. The rules are simple:
On Thursday the 18th, I will pick what I think is the best in three categories.
1. Hottest Babe - Has to have your bike in the picture.
2. Best Chrome - Detailing on your bike.
3. Hazardous Conditions - Pics of you/your buddies in the worst of riding conditions! (don't hurt yourself trying to take some please!)
At the end of the contest I'm going to pick three winners, one from each category.
- First place gets a free windshield of their choice from Long Ride Shields.
- Winners will be posted on our website. http://harleyshields.com
- This is not limited to touring or even the bikes we make windshields for.
- I'm the judge, no bribes, I make the calls, but you can toss in a vote if you want to or email who you think should win to longrideshields@gmail.com
- Rules are subject to change.
- One last rule, if you post it here it becomes public domain. But pretty much everything on the forum is anyway.
We've already had some awesome submissions, 10 days left!

Friday, March 5, 2010 at 1:06PM New Road King Windshield Prototypes
As promised, we are nearing the end or our development of the Road King Windshield which will also eventualy turn into the windshield for the majority of Harley full size windshields.
Right now we have developed a 21 inch big boy shield with a flip up intended for riders who cant get enough wind coverage, however soon a smaller and more compact shield below 18 inches. As the need develops, we will have a range of windshields with flip-ups to go on other bikes as well.
We will be contacting several testers from our earlier surveys to help us test these new beta versions.

Rob | Comments Off | Windshield Bags with X-Stream
Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 10:13PM We got it, After working with several of out testers we were able to find that Windshield Bags will work with the 9, 10 and soon to come 11 inch X-Stream windshields as well as with the classic Flip-Up Models.
One customer was able to make his bags fit with an 8 inch windshield while another was not able to. If you have any specific ideas on how to make them work on an 8, inch please let me know.
